 The secrets of Exo driving experience lie in the heart of our bike - the main controller. Here's the list of features.

 

Safe and secure

Automatic hall sensor identification makes controller connection simple and safe.

Connection of safety switches possible. (Seat switch, stand switch, dead man's switch).
 
Safe start, the motor wont start if a non zero throttle or brake is detected on power up. Normal operation resumes if safe values are detected.
 
Electronic disable function over CAN bus as anti theft measure allowing the use of electronic key systems. A mechanical key feature also available.

Interface features

 CAN communication for integrating the driver into vehicle systems. Easy interfacing to a user interface module.

 
Precision parameter measurement for external user interfaces (electrical speed, motor current, battery state of charge, travel distance, available distance and others).
 

Driving control

 

Adjustable throttle parameters, featuring torque and speed regulation. Torque control enables very smooth takeoff and driving. Smooth starting even on steep slopes.

Speed adjusted regenerative braking enables smooth and exact speed reduction with energy recovery to very low speeds. It improves millage and makes descending steep slopes safe and comfortable.

 

The motor position sensing, using 3 hall sensors ensures always a correct switching algorithm, with no problems at startup and low speeds very low speed, crawling driving.

 

Adjustable current limiting features for battery and motor protection and for optimizing driving dynamics.
