Exo stands for three values: efficiency, excellence and openness. We can achieve efficiency by scaling down and using smaller and smarter products. This still allows us to enjoy the technical performance and excellence. This can be achieved in open collaboration and community participation.

We started the development of Exo bikes in November 2009. The core team included a designer, an electric engineer, mechnical engineer and a business consultant. The idea was to produce small but capable two wheeler for urban commuters.
